CBS News:
SEC sues ex-Fannie, Freddie execs for fraud
The Securities and Exchange Commission has brought civil fraud charges
against six former top executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, saying
they misled the government and taxpayers about risky subprime mortgages
the mortgage giants held during the housing bust.

Russia seizes radioactive sodium headed for Iran
Russia's customs agency says it has seized radioactive metal from the luggage of a passenger bound for Tehran. The metal pices contained Sodium-22, which is not used for nuclear weapons, but for other purposes. The source of the nuclear material is not known, and there is discussion on if it has been sold to Iran by Russian companies.
